You have come a very long way for four nights. Every single year someone corners us at the bonfire and asks what else is out there. Quite a lot, as it turns out. Here is where people usually go next.
Tawang
Up over Sela Pass, 13,700 ft, into the biggest monastery in the country. Long drive. Worth every hour of it.
Mechuka
Barely anyone goes. A wide green valley pushed right up against the border, and a river you can hear from the tent.
Dong Valley
India sees the sunrise here first. You get up at 3am, you walk in the dark, and then it happens.
Anini
Far into Dibang. Roads run out, phones stop working, and that is rather the point.
Meghalaya, the hits
Root bridges you climb down to, Cherrapunji in the rain, and a boat on water so clear it looks fake.

Do I need a permit?
Indians need an Inner Line Permit, and we sort it on every package. Foreign nationals need a PAP, best started 2 to 4 weeks ahead. Message us and we will help.

How far is the festival?
A short walk from the campground. No cab, no parking, no scrambling for a ride at 2am.

I am travelling solo. Is that fine?
Most of our campers are. Tents are twin share and we pair solo travellers, or take The Cloud, our female-only zone, staffed round the clock.

Are festival tickets included?
Not in the campsite packages, but you can add them during checkout. Alpine Reserve and the Campsite Edition trip include the 4-day pass.

What if it rains?
Ziro in September is a valley, so expect some. Tents are pitched and weatherproofed, with covered common areas and a bonfire. Pack a light rain layer.

What do I actually need to bring?
Yourself and a warm layer. Tent, bedding, breakfast, showers and washrooms are all set up and waiting.

Can I book for a group?
Yes, and you should tell us. Six or more and we hold your tents together, take one payment and work out a rate.
